And as long as you’re visiting Safe Combinations (last week mercantile hero), you should walk up to the corner of Casco and Congress and check out the store Loquat, housed in the Mechanics Hall building on the first floor.

This store is amazing: handmade clothing and jewelry, pro-LGBTQ+ and BLM; the goal of its design team is to help marginalized peoples. It’s art, pure and simple, and you can wear it. Moreover, they are committed to creating garments that last.
